Ralphs World Live

Grammy-nominated, Parents Choice Award winning, and veteran of the Disney Channel Ralph Covert’s family music project Ralph’s World is a perennial favorite with kids as well their parents. The New York Times called him “the kids music genre’s Elvis Presley… He brings a trace of childlike wonder to what he does.” The Los Angeles Times wrote, “The Paul McCartney of his genre… his songs are real, quirky, imaginative, and fun.” His song “Drivin’ In My Car” is a kids music classic, with over 10 million streams on Spotify. He has performed thousands of concerts, from venues as intimate as backyard birthday parties to concerts in places like Central Park in New York and festivals like Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. No matter where he performs, he brings the same sense of fun and excitement to everything he does.

Ralph Covert of Ralph’s World has been performing his children’s music live since the 1990s. Before that he toured America and Europe with his pop rock band, The Bad Examples. He started setting good examples teaching Wiggleworm mom and tots classes and playing concerts at Chicago’s prestigious Old Town School of Folk Music. With the release of his first Ralph’s World album in 2001 he began touring extensively with his kids music, performing hundreds of shows in Borders Books and concerts in theaters, clubs, and festivals. Over the last 23 years, he’s played thousands of shows, from intimate birthday parties to headlining slots at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and Ravinia Festival. His longtime passion for early reading has been expressed by many shows in libraries—last summer over 100 such appearances. He still performs shows both solo and wioth a full band.
