Mr. Marcus Music

Mr. Markus the Music Man offers a music and movement guitar sing-along program that provides children and family audiences with fun, humorous, interactive, and zany songs.  Every show offers audience members lots of opportunities to join in on the fun. As a children’s music artist, Mr. Markus the Music Man uses over 15 years of education, working with children, and performing children’s songs that will engage children and family audiences in a and unique way.

Markus Law is an Early Childhood Educator, Behavioral Specialist, Puppeteer, Musician, and father. He’s worked in the field of early childhood education for almost 20 years achieving a BA from Brandman University in ECE and an MA in ECE Leadership from Loyola Marymount University. He’s worked in the field of Special Needs & Behavior Analysis for over 10 years completing an Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program at National University. 

Markus has been playing music since the young age of nine. He is a professional musician playing both guitar and drums. As a drummer, he has played in bands ranging in styles from Jazz, Gospel, and rock all over Southern California. As a guitarist and singer, he plays songs from his childhood and his years working in ECE, which led him to create Mr. Markus’ Music Show.

Puppeteering has always been his passion as well. As a big fan of Sesame Street and the Muppet Show, he started puppeteering as a kid. Throughout the years, he used puppets in the preschool classroom and with his young children. Inspired by Jim Henson, he created Party Puppet Show.
