Fun and interactive children’s and family hand and rod puppet shows featuring unique custom puppets in a variety of fun shows. Each show is presented in a hand and rod puppet theater.
Handcrafted puppets, original stories, live & interactive performances, and child-approved fun are all part of the magic of a Luce Puppet Company show! One person does it all, in our funny, happy, miniature theatre world. The stories take place on a colorful, portable puppet stage that travels complete with sound system, sets, curtains and lights. The show takes place five feet off the ground, so everyone has a ringside seat!
Elizabeth is a professional puppeteer, theatre and graphics designer with a MFA from UCLA in set and costume design. She has received awards for her design work in both theatre and graphics, including an Emmy for her original children’s video, The Mousecracker, an all-mouse puppet version of The Nutcracker and the 2010 Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Circle Award for puppet design for The Gogol Project. After fifteen years working professionally as a theatrical designer and craftsman in live theatre and for companies like the Disney Channel, Fox Television, Phoenix Productions for NBC, HBO, and designing and teaching at Pepperdine University, she is now devoted exclusively to puppetry. Her company Luce Puppet Company is renowned all over California and has performed at numerous festivals, museums and libraries. All of her shows are original and handcrafted, with stories appropriate for children and their families.

A charming and whimsical tale of friendship, loyalty, and resourcefulness.
Zomo the Trickster Rabbit:

The Reluctant Dragon
A boy befriends a peaceful, poetry loving dragon in the hills beyond the village, but when the townsfolk find out and hire a knight to slay the dragon, the boy comes up with a clever plan: the “pretend” tournament of the century!
